Para-aramid engineered yarns are extremely strong and abrasion resistant. They are lighter than steel, but are 5X stronger on an equal weight basis. In addition to being extremely cut resistant, para-aramid yarns are inherently flame resistant. They will not ignite, melt, or degrade in heat.
